It is impossible to know if Dêvasêna reigned at the same time as Prithivishêna II or after; it was probably at the end of the V century. The minister of Dêvasêna was Hastibhoja who probably dug the Ghaṭotkacha cave at Gulwârâ, eleven miles W. of Ajaṇṭâ.
