What became of this dynasty later on, it is impossible to say. However, there exists a stone in Guḍḍappa dry land at Aṇaji in the Dâvaṇagere taluq of Mysore (Ep. Carn., Vol. XI, Dg, No. 161) which mentions “the family of the Kêkayas, who made intermarriages with the Ikshvâkus.”
