⁵ Jervis; 93. Jervis states (page 68) that Dádáji Konddev's assessment had extended very partially through the Dábhol *subhedári*. This is not consistent with Grant Duff's account of Dádáji's government, which does not seem to have extended into the Konkan at all, nor does Sháhji at that time appear to have had any possessions in the Konkan, Grant Duff, 56-57. .
