Of the time of Dhruva, we have only one published record,—the stone inscription at the temple of Lôkêśvara-(Virûpâksha) at Paṭṭadakal, in the Bijâpur District, which mentions grants that were made to the temple by the harlot Bâḍipoddi or Bâlipoddi; the record is not dated.³
