² The last epithet occurs in an inscription at Rôn in the Dhârwâr District. It is met with in earlier times in connection with the Western Chalukya king Vijayâditya (page 370 above). Kṛishṇa III. probably obtained it through contact with the Eastern Chalukyas, among whom it belonged to his contemporary Amma II.
