Of these villages, Vahūr survives as Bāhur, while Viḷaṅgaṭṭaṅaḍuvaṉūr and Kirmaṇpaṭṭi are identical with Kaḍuvaṉūr and Kiḷmām-bākkam situate to the west and north-east of Bahur, an important locality south of Pondicherry.
