This is a Bāṇa inscription in Tamil found in the Paramēśvara temple at Guḍimallam. It records, in the twenty-third year of the glorious Nandipōttaraśar, while Vikramāditya-Māvalivāṇarāya was ruling the Vaḍugavaḷimērku, one of the members of the committee administering the Tiruviprambēḍu, purchased by a deed of sale a field from one Agniśarman and made a gift of it to the God Mahādēva of the temple of Paraśurāmēśvara for ghee and sacred lamps. The Assembly accordingly ordered that all the oil-mills in the village should be set up and the oil secured.
