Tamil inscription on the south wall of the Lakshmī-Nārāyaṇa temple of Kāvāntaṇḍlam records in the fourteenth year of Kampavarman that one Mānasarpa an inhabitant of Kuḷanur in Vēṅgai Nāḍu made a gift of land to the Viṣṇu temple at Kāvāntaṇḍlam. (Chenglepat District).
