³ The Nimbalkurs of Barsee are distinct from the Nimbalkurs of Kurmulla; the head of the latter has the title of Rao Rumbha. The former is one of the family of Hybut Rao Surlushkur. [Karmāla (Kurmulla) is now part of the Sholāpur District, Bombay, and the fort built by the Nimbalkar family is now used as the Karmāla tāluka offices. Bārsi is likewise a town and tāluka in the same district. (I.G. Bom., 1909, i. 580-2.)]
