A.D. 1485.—On the appointment of Mullik Ahmed to his government of Doulutabad and Joonere in the year 1485, he found the Mahrattas, who garrisoned the hill forts, in a state of revolt; and was obliged to besiege and take the whole of the forts about Poona, including Kondaneh¹ and Loghur, and also many in the Concan as far as Dhunda Rajepoor, which was about the southern extremity of the Ahmednugur territory.
