Bahādur returned from Diū to Chāmpāner, where he received some of the nobles of the late Ibrāhīm Shāh Lodī of Delhi, who had reached his court with 300 followers. From Chāmpāner Bahādur marched to Modāsa and thence led an expedition into Bāker and Bānswāra. The Rānā, Ratan Singh II, who had succeeded Sangrama after the battle of Sīkrī, interceded for the two chiefs, and Bahādur stayed his hand.
