v3.c30.s1.28

¹ Fergusson was wrong in stating that light was admitted only through the doorway and two small windows at its side, there being, as a fact, three large screened windows on the north. He was wrong, too (as so frequently on points of fact), in stating that the entrance gateway on the north and the elegant Dharmasala to the west of the tomb were built of stones from older Hindu or Jaina buildings. All the members of these structures were carved by the Muhammadans themselves.
