v1.c14.51

The Keladi Raya Padditti affirms that its institutor was Krishna Deva Raya (Buchanan, l.c.) and the Keladi Arasu Vamsavali says that it was Achyuta Raya (Wilson, l.c.). But the real royal Nayakship of Keladi was not founded till the time of Chauda's son, Sadasiva Nayaka, who was appointed by Emperor Sadasiva.
