7. Among the poets of his court we must mention Chennamaraju, who was patronized by the genaral Pemmasani Timma. Once the poet carried from the Emperor to his patron the various insignia of his position. Out of these Pemmasani Timma presented the poet with the white turban, the white chauks, the palankin, and Talichankattu ⁵.
