123. The other Purāṇas, on the other hand, give another set of facts about the Gupta dynasty. The Vāyu and the Brahmāṇḍa say that the descendants of the Gupta dynast (Gupta-vaṁśajāḥ), i.e. the Guptas later than the founder of the family, will rule (bhokṣyante):
