¹ Coin No. 236 of the Muṇḍananda belongs to the same series. It was evidently connected with Muṇḍa-raṣṭra which occurs in the Pallava inscriptions [EI. VIII, 159]. [Muṇḍā in the Muṇḍārī language of Chuṭia Nagpur means a rājā.]
