In this civil war the ‘lord of Avanti’ [Avandikán avatávya] took the side of Varhrán III. And according to the inscription, ‘all kinds of Satraps’ (Sátrap gónak gónak) congratulated the new king (Narseh) on his victory. So also congratulated him ‘the king of the Ábhíras’ [Abírán Šáh].
