v1.c7.s3.29

Maspero has suggested the identification of Ti-Tchen with the king Gangārāja who is mentioned in inscription No. 12 as having abdicated the throne in order to spend his last days on the Ganges. The abdication of the throne and retirement to India are certainly very striking coincidences, and the identification, although by no means certain, is undoubtedly very probable.
