I am inclined to agree with Paṇḍit H. Śāstrī that the author of the Nālandā plate regarded Yavabhūmi and Suvarṇadvīpa as one and the same. If this view be correct we can easily equate Yavabhūmi = Zābag = Suvarṇadvīpa = San-fo-tsi.
