¹ Francke (*op. cit.* 169-71) points out that Ye-śes-hod was a king of Gu-ge (Goggadeśa, in Western Tibet) which included parts of Kunawar and Spyi-ti, and that it was not he, but one of his descendants, that invited Atīśa to his country.
