³ *Kulyavāpa* seems to be equivalent to several acres. According to some, *kulyavāpa* still survives in the modified form *kulyavāya* in Cachar district, and as the latter is equivalent to 14 *bighās*, the same must also be the area of the former (*Bhāratavarsha*, 1349. Part I, p. 384). But this is hardly convincing.
