⁹⁵ Agroha is 13 miles from Hisar on the Hisar-Firozabad road. Now it is only a village. Near the village are the ruins of the old city which was a large commercial town. Barani, Calcutta Text, p. 483. Ibn Batūtah supports Barani by saying that cannibalism was rife in Dihli at this time owing to the severity of famine.
