¹²⁵ *Hadīqat-al-Aqālīm*, Bankipore MS. f. 51. The author of the work writes (حسن کانگریده). He does not refer to Firishta. From his narrative it appears that he did not attach much importance to the popular story of the Brahmanic origin of the dynasty and refers to it only as a secondary matter.
