The *Majmal-i-Fasīhī* is a valuable chronological compendium of important events down to 1441 A.D. The author Ahmad bin Muhammad lived in the time of Shāh Rukh and was an eye-witness of most of the events he describes. His chronological summary is very useful. There is a copy of this work in the Khudabakhsh Library, Bankipore.
