⁵⁸ Ibn Batūṭah, III, pp. 356-7. The author of the Tarikh-i-Mubarak Shahi writing in the 15th century speaks of the ford of Saragdwāri and Badaoni writes of it as existing in the vicinity of Shamsabad.
