⁷¹ There is no village of this name now in existence. Sir Wolseley Haig is inclined to believe that the pavilion was built at Aghwanpur, a village five miles from Tughluqabad. The name of this village may be a corruption of Afghanpur or the Muhammadan historians may have corrupted a Hindi name. J. R. A. S., 1922, p. 330.
