v1.c24.106

After this summary the royal genealogies are resumed, and detailed lists of the later Nandas, the Mauryas, the Çuṅgas, the Kaṇvas, and the Andhras follow³. The continuous record then ceases; but genealogies more or less fragmentary and summaries of ruling powers, both native states and foreign invaders, continue to appear until about the end of the fifth century A.D. when the Purāṇas cease to be historical.
