(8) *Imadpur image-inscription*.—In the course of excavations of a mound called Jowhri Di, near the village of Imadpur in the Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, two groups of inscribed brass figures were dug out. The inscriptions, which were identical ran as follows: *Śrīman Mahīpāladeva-rājasa Samatt* 48 *jeṣṭa dina Sukala pakṣa* 2.²
