⁵ Hirananda Sāstrī suggests that Jayabhañja was a younger brother of Yaśabhañja and the former issued this charter under the seal of his elder brother the king; *ibid*, p. 43, fn. 1. But note that Jayabhañja is also called *nṛpati*.
