⁴ This Vijayāditya was the uncle of the Eastern Cāḷukya Rājendra. The latter was the daughter's son of Rājendra Gaṅga-koṇḍa (*c.* 1013-44 A.D.) and son-in-law of the latter's son Rājendra (*c.* 1052-62 A.D.). He later succeeded in unifying Veṅgi and the Coḷa kingdoms under his authority and assumed the name of Kulottuṅga (*c.* 1072-1118 A.D.).
