(6) *Basahi grant.*—Found in the village of Basahi, Etawah district, U. P. ; incised on a single plate. Ring and seal lost. It records the grant of two villages (the names of which are quite illegible) to a Brahman *Ṭhakkura* named Devapāla Śarman by the same donor as in No. 5. The date of the grant is (V) *Saṁvat* 1174 (A.D. 1116).²
