Part three opens with the date (*V*) *Saṁvat* 999, which marked the grant of a field named Vavvūlika by the side of the river Nandyā in the village of Palāśa-kūpikā to Indrāditya-deva of Ghoṇṭā-varṣi by *Mahārājādhirāja* Bhartṛ-paṭṭa, son of Khommāṇa. G. H. Ojha has identified this prince with Bhartṛpaṭṭa II, son of Khommāṇa III of Mewar, of the Guhila family. The same scholar has suggested the identification of Palāśakūpikā with Parasia, about 15 miles south of Mandasor.
