Smith in his article on the Gurjara-Pratīhāras has confused this Osia inscription with the Osia inscription of Vatsa the father of Nāgabhaṭa II, and has wrongly given the date of the latter epigraph as V.S. 1013, thus placing the father 141 years later than the son; see *JRAS*, 1909, p. 66, No. 1.
