² Edited by Kielhorn in *IA*, XVIII, pp. 209-11. The editor has pointed out that the word *diṣṭa* means *kāla*; *Cedi-diṣṭa* therefore means Cedi-kāla (*cf*. Māḷava kāla). The local name of Śiva appears to have been *Gāhuṇḍa* (line 15). A naked colossal Jaina image dedicated in the reign of Gayā-Karṇa was discovered at Bahuriband in the Jubbulpore District (C. P.). It mentions the *Mahāsāmantādhipati* the Rāṣṭrakūṭa ‘Golhaṇa.’ See *ASR*, Vol. IX, p. 40.
