The inscription was issued in the (*V.*) *Saṁvat* 1177 (A.D. 1120) from the Nala-pura² *mahādurga*. It records the grant of the village of Babāḍa to the Brāhman Govinda and others (names given). The grant was written by the *Paṇḍita* Salakṣaṇa. It ends with *M. Śrīmad-Vīrasiṁhasya vijayinaḥ svahastaḥ*.³
