Jagaddeva therefore must have ruled for some time at least over a portion of the Paramāra territory. He seems to have been a vigorous ruler who claims to have raided the territories beyond the Tungabhadra and the limits of whose kingdom extended over the territories between the Penganga and the Godavari. It is significant that though he fought with the Eastern Calukyas and the Hoysaḷas there is no reference to his conflict with the successors of the Kalyana Cāḷukya Taila II. It is interesting to note that some of his enemies were also the traditional foes of the Karṇāṭa king Vikramāditya VI (*c.* 1076-1127 A.D.). It is therefore not impossible that he, like his father, may have been an ally of the great Cāḷukya emperor.
