⁴ For a MS. dated in (V.) *Saṁvat* 1350, in the reign of Sāraṅgadeva, while his army was encamped near Asāpalli, see Bhandarkar's *Report for 1883-84*, 17-18; *BG*, Vol. I, Part I, p. 205. Bhagvanlal identifies Asāpalli with Ahmedabad. H. H. Wilson notices (*Asiatic Researches*, Vol. XVI, p. 311) an Abu inscription of Sāraṅgadeva, dated in V.S. 1350 (A.D. 1294), when the *Mahāmaṇḍaleśvara* Vīsaladeva of Candrāvatī was his feudatory. See also *Ras*, Vol. I, p. 264. The *BG* (Vol. I, Part I, p. 204) mentions it but Kielhorn omits it in his list of Northern Inscriptions (*EI*, Vol. V, *Appendix*).
