*Śārṅgadhara-paddhati*, Ed. by Peter Peterson, Bombay Sanskrit Series, No. XXXVII, p. 1, *Śloka* 2. I am indebted for this reference to Prof. G. Majumdar of the Presidency College, Calcutta. The anthology was composed in 1363 A.D. Śārṅgadhara’s grandfather Rāghavadeva was a courtier of Hammīra. Śārṅgadhara is credited with the composition of a *Kāvya* named *Hammīra-rāso*; but no copy of this work has yet been discovered.
