³ But see *ASI, WC*, 1905-06, p. 61, No. 2222, which records a Chitorgaḍh inscription dated in (V.)S. 1322, *varṣe Kārtika vadi 12*, which is apparently dated in the reign of the Guhila prince Jaitrasiṁha. Strangely it speaks of Jaitrasiṁha as a brother of Padmasiṁha. It is now in Udaipur. *EI*, Vol. XX, *Appendix*, p. 81, does not notice this record.
