(7) Chitor stone-inscription (iv).—Incised on a loose stone slab on a platform built round a tree in front of the Rampol gate at Chitor. It is dated in (V.) S. 1358(c. 1301), in the reign of M.-Samarasimhadeva. It is damaged, but seems to register the erection of a praśasti in the neighbourhood of the ‘terrace’ of Bhojasvāmi (Bhojasvāmideva-jagati) by Rāja Dhārasimha, the son of Mahārāvat Rājā Pātā of the Pratihāra family.⁴
