In the *Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa*¹ he is styled an Aikshvāka.² Trasadasyu,³ too, finds mention in the *Ṛig-Veda*.⁴ Tryaruṇa⁵ is also mentioned in the same *Veda*.⁶ In the *Pañchaviṁśa Brāhmaṇa*⁷ he is called an Aikshvāka Triśaṅku⁸ is referred to in the *Taittirīya Upanishad*.⁹
