Dēva-Rāya’s son by Ponnalā-Dēvī, Mallikārjuna, also called Immaḍi-Dēva-Rāya, next came to the throne, and he was followed by Virūpāksha, the son of Dēva-Rāya by Simhalā-Dēvī. These were reigns wanting in vigour. Mallikārjuna is said (Md 12, 59) to be in Penugoṇḍa in 1459, along with his minister, engaged in affairs connected with Narasinga’s kingdom. This was the chief next to be mentioned.
