But the original, especially when read in the light of the epigraph related to Armitapura cited above, does not warrant the separation of piṇḍa-dāna from kaṭṭu-guttige: gadyāṇam hadineṇṭakke sarvanamasya kaṭṭu-guttige-piṇḍa-dana sarva-bādhā-parihārav etc. Text pp. 199-200.
