The late Mr. B. Veṅkōba Rao suggested that Sāḷuva Nṛisimha was also crowned twice.³ On these occasions the great nobles and the royal priest were present. The coronation of Kṛishṇa Dēva Rāya the Great was graced by the presence of the charming Āraviṭi Bukka Rāja, the famous scions of the family of Aukuvāru, the heroic Nandyālavāru, the warlike Velugōṭivāru, Pemmasānivāru, Būdihālivāru, Rēvalavāru, and other great lords who attended the king night and day with their enormous forces of men, horses and elephants.⁴
