The name of Viṭhṭhaṇṇa Oḍeyar again appears in a deed of sale dated A. D. 1404 but this time given by various Brahmans (named). The land sold is called the *āgāmi* land (?), which seems to have been purchased by the Brahmans. The concluding lines of the epigraph are to be noted—“...with the consent of the wives of the Brahmans, their sons, relations, and heirs, we have granted by deed of sale with a stone *śāsana*.”²
