But voluntary contributions by the people did not altogether disappear in later Vijayanagara history. In about A. D. 1600 the Bennāyakanahaḷḷi Gauḍa and subjects agreeing, gave the worship of Vo...śelamma to Lakai-bōya. The inscription does not contain any further information.²
