12 October 1681. “Sambhājī is not at Rairi. For plotting against his life he has put to death Ānāji Pandit, Hiraji Farzand, Bālāji Prabhu, Somāji Datto and five more, bound and put under elephant’s feet. Twenty more are to suffer death. The Raja will march to Burhanpur with Akbar in a few days.”
