∗ The parting scene is very graphically described in Kambu, 12a, Storia, i. 267. Masum, 57a, is brief. Isardas describes the farewell (26b) but wrongly places it in the night following Samugarh. For the march of Dara's army Manucci has left a most vivid picture. (Storia, i. 268).
