∗ They are said to have risen in Shahjahanpur and Kantgola. There is a place of the former name 15 miles s. of Patna, and a place called Athman-gola, 28 m. e. of Patna. Rennell (sheets 4 and 9) gives a Katganj on the north bank of the Ganges opposite Athman-gola.
