But the trouble did not die out with the loss of one leader. We read that even as late as March of that year (1670), Hasan Ali Khan was "engaged in enslaving and capturing the rebels, plundering their houses, extirpating their families, and dismantling their strong [mud] forts." These measures had the desired effect, and in a short time peace was restored to the district.
